Corporate and Leveraged Finance Intern

The Intern will join the Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) desk, as support to the Corporate and Corporate Acquisition Financing team in Milan.

She / He will be involved in:

Responsibilities

Analysis of the existing and prospect clients of the bank in the context of financing transactions related to refinancing of existing debt facilities, capex, liquidity back-up lines, acquisitions;

Financial Modelling and Business Plan analysis for financings

Preparation of internal presentations and pitches

Preparation of internal papers to present financing transactions in credit committees;

Liaising with other teams of the bank in relation to transaction originated and / or syndicated by DOD

Preparation of post-transaction memorandum;

Monitoring of CLF Lending portfolio (exposures, RWA…)

Market, benchmark and comparable analysis through Dealogic, Loanconnector and internal tools

Analysis of main players within the Italian lending market (data analysis and PowerPoint presentations) for internal and clients/investors meetings purposes

The Intern will deal with an international, challenging and rapidly changing environment, which requires multi-tasking skills,



relational skills, capabilities to work with time management and to respect strict deadlines. This experience will provide the intern with an unique opportunity to improve her/his knowledge of the loan market, with a focus on originating and structuring of loans for the large and mid‑cap Italian corporates

Requirements
Languages

Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus

IT

Proficiency in Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

Knowledge of Bloomberg platform will be a plus

Specialist Knowledge

Strong academic track record, preferably with a focus on subjects inherent Financial Markets/Intermediaries, Financial Products/Securities, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Accounting

Analytical and quantitative skills

Proficiency in writing and presentation skills

Previous experience in a similar position will be a plus
