/p h3Position Overview /h3 pAs an Automotive Creative Exterior Component Designer, you will join a team where imagination meets advanced technology.
Besides being a vital part of the exterior design team, you'll collaborate with specialists in Product, UX, and Brand,
contributing to the next generation of Huawei mobility experiences.
All of this happens in the heart of Milan, a city where design, fashion, and innovation collide every day.
/p h3What will you be doing?
/h3 ul liCreate bold, unique, and advanced designs for car exterior components such as lights, cameras, radars, lidar, wheels, and other elements that push boundaries and define the next wave of Huawei automotive aesthetics.
/li liShape ideas from sketch to final product, following projects from early concept exploration to production?ready proposals.
/li liBring strong creative energy, curiosity, and attention to detail, refining ideas into polished, competitive design solutions.
/li liCreate compelling design stories that help present concepts clearly and confidently, ensuring alignment across teams.
/li liUnderstand the world's fastest?moving market by building a deep understanding of the Chinese automotive landscape and its design dynamics.
/li liCollaborate globally by travelling to China and other project hubs several times per year to support development, benchmark trends, and work closely with HQ design teams.
/li /ul h3What skills do you bring?
/h3 ul liA Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive Design or Product Design.
/li liExperience in automotive or mobility design within a top?tier agency or in?house studio (3?7 years of experience is a plus, or a highly creative portfolio).
/li liStrong 2D/3D design abilities—from expressive sketching to refined digital rendering.
/li liAdvanced proficiency in Blender or similar 3D programs for modeling and visualization.
/li liAbility to collaborate with engineers.
/li liA portfolio that demonstrates strong design thinking across multiple sectors.
/li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design intent.
/li liA collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed.
/li liFluency in English; Chinese is a plus.
/li liComfort working in a multicultural, international environment.
