/b /p pbThis is a fixed-term contract (1 year) with the possibility to be extended/become permanent.
/b /p pbYou are a listener, an educator and a gifted cultivator of new and exciting opportunities grounded in science?
/b /p pThe FMA serves as the primary field-based point of contact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Providers (HCPs) including clinical investigators on a range of clinical and scientific issues.
The primary role is to deliver and facilitate medical education, communications, research, and scientific insight gathering activities of the client.
This includes the provision of scientific and medical data on both licensed and unlicensed client products and indications as permissible by local laws and regulations.
/p pThe FMA identifies, develops, and maintains long-term collaborative partnerships with external clinical and scientific experts and institutions to support current and future client portfolio activities.
/p pThey ensure effective communication and collaboration across a multifunctional client team, including other Medical Affairs colleagues as well as commercial and Market Access, to meet client and healthcare provider needs and ultimately ensure the best patient care in an efficient and compliant manner.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain outstanding knowledge of relevant disease area topics.
/li liDevelop and maintain outstanding knowledge of client products, competitor products, and other therapeutic options within the therapeutic area.
/li liCollaborate with the cross?functional team to ensure the best patient care.




/li liMaintain an in?depth understanding of the medical strategy and broader client strategy to ensure activities are coordinated with the team and aligned to the client strategy.
/li liCollaborate with Cluster and Country Medical Leads for the development and execution of the field medical strategy for the product and disease area.
/li liDevelop synergistic relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities.
/li liWork to the highest ethical compliance, ethics and safety standards, adhering to all local regulations and laws.
/li liEngage with the cross?functional team to ensure activities are coordinated and aligned with client strategy.
/li liInitiate and lead the implementation of medical projects, e.g. Medical Advisory Board meetings, Medical Education, patient care innovation projects.
/li liProvide scientific congress coverage and support for national and international client planned activities.
/li liServe as external, credible scientific expert on disease area and client products at HCP field meetings, key medical and scientific conferences, advisory boards, clinical investigator meetings and patient advocacy group meetings.
/li liRespond to unsolicited requests for medical information on client products in a credible, balanced, objective manner.
/li liProactively engage with HCP community to provide medical education as permissible by local laws and regulations.
/li liProvide effective clinical presentations to internal and external audiences and tailor presentations to meet specific audience needs.




/li liSupport Early Access Programmes (EAPs).
/li liIdentify and map HCPs and networks/referral patterns.
/li liIdentify key field insights related to client products, activities and the disease area, and effectively disseminate and collaborate with cross?functional partners.
/li liSupport clinical operations in trial site identification.
/li liFacilitate clear communication between the client and investigators in investigator engagement for both client?sponsored and investigator?sponsored studies and address barriers to enrolment for pipeline assets.
/li liIdentify and support local data generation activities.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMSL/FMA experience.
/li liAdvanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or professional qualification (physician, nurse pharmacist).
Exceptional candidates with MSc considered.
/li liExperience within disease area (as part of academia or in industry).
/li liKnowledge of clinical research design and GCP in the disease area.
/li liStrong understanding of clinical research trial design and study analysis, including cost effectiveness and other high?level HEOR evidence approaches.
/li liStrong understanding of local healthcare systems, treatment guidelines.
/li liAbility to develop trust and maintain integrity with KOLs, external clinical and scientific experts, investigators, HCPs, and institutions, as well as with peers.
/li liKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations to role.
/li liExcellent presentation, communication skills.
/li liAbility to convey complex scientific concepts and information appropriately tailored to the audience, e.g., affiliate staff and regional/global Medical Affairs leadership.
