Marketing & Product Development Director - Beauty
The figure will lead the strategic development and execution of global marketing initiatives across fragrance, makeup, and skincare categories. Reporting to top management, this role will drive brand growth, product innovation, and global market positioning, ensuring strong alignment with corporate objectives and evolving consumer trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
define and implement global marketing strategies for fragrance, makeup, and skincare portfolios;
oversee brand positioning, storytelling, and global communication strategies to strengthen brand equity and market presence.
lead the global product development roadmap in close collaboration with R&D; and creative teams;
identify emerging trends, consumer insights, and market opportunities to drive innovation and category expansion.
Go-to-Market Execution:
develop and manage global go-to-market and launch plans, ensuring consistency and excellence across regions;
partner with regional marketing teams to adapt global strategies to local market needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
work closely with Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure timely and successful product launches;
align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and profitability targets.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
monitor KPIs, market share evolution, and campaign effectiveness to continuously optimize strategies;
provide regular reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership.
lead, manage, and mentor a global marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles within the beauty industry, with proven expertise in fragrance, makeup, and skincare;
strong track record in global brand management and product development;
strategic mindset combined with strong analytical and creative capabilities;
proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire international teams;
excellent communication and presentation skills;
native or fluent Italian (mandatory);
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field;
willingness to travel internationally as required.
