The Business Process Expert (BPE) Record-to-Report (R2R) will take responsibility for monitoring and analyzing operational performance and making recommendations for RTR process improvements.

Working at European level and undertaking regular travel, this role will use expertise and experience to optimize specific and complex subjects within the RTR process while increasing operational harmonization, effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Contributing toward the achievement of business objectives through harmonization and optimization of end-to-end (E2E) RTR processes and continuous improvement

Supporting the Business Process Owner (BPO) by providing fact-based insights throughout the lifecycle of processes and enhancements

Monitoring operational performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement within both the subject of expertise and the overall RTR process

Advising the BPO and Business Process Manager (BPM) regarding further development, harmonization and implementation of their respective process

Coordinating with stakeholders to discuss, align and prioritize potential process optimization activities

Working with BPOs and BPMs to promote a mindset of quality, excellence and continuous improvement throughout the company

Supporting cost reduction activities through RTR process optimization at both regional and European level

Ensuring that localization and optimization of RTR processes is within the European template

Working to ensure RTR process compliance and escalating as appropriate in the event of risks





Supporting the execution of transformation and project roadmaps for Record to Report

Skills and Experience needed

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

5+ years of experience in General Ledger with solid knowledge of end-to-end accounting (AR, AP, GL)

Proven experience in transformation projects and implementing new process standards in complex organizations

Strong ability to collaborate with regional stakeholders and lead change management initiatives to ensure successful process adoption

Good understanding of business principles, operational processes, and organizational structures

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies; Lean/Six Sigma is a plus

Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement improvements

Experience with process modeling and automation tools preferred

Project management experience is an advantage

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
