About The PositionAs an Operational Buyer in the Purchasing team, you will be involved in supporting the Purchasing function in the Company and help to incorporate cost effective purchasing of all production and consumable materials.
To support the Purchasing Manager to ensure detailed and consistent communication throughout the Company regarding management of suppliers.
Your Main ResponsibilitiesTo ensure a reliable supply of purchased goods to the right quality levels and at optimal total cost.
To place purchase orders for materials based on MRP planning reports and approved requisitions.
To prepare, maintain and track order entry for all purchase orders.
To review purchase order acknowledgments to ensure they coincide with the information stated on the purchase order.
To help with the management of vendors regarding material problems, delivery issues and quality problems
To expedite and manage vendors to help achieve OTIF delivery from suppliers.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within a manufacturing company – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes.
Very good written and verbal English.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:Good organisations skills and the ability to prioritise own workload in line with business requirements.
Highly numerical and analytical.
