Position: Automation Engineer (Level 1)

Our Center of Excellence Electrics/Automation is looking for an Automation Engineer (Level 1).

Location

Tarcento (UD), San Donato Milanese (MI), Genova.

Responsibilities

- Development of automation solutions,



primarily focusing on software for controlling plant.
- Takeover of Level 1 software programming and associated tests, including functional commissioning at customer premises.
- Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, customers, sub-suppliers.

Qualifications

- Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science.
- Proof of programming competence in PLC Automation Systems (S7‑TIA, S7‑400), Rockwell ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Knowledge of HMI platform development; Siemens SIMATIC WinCC.
- Analytical competence and ability to work in a team.
- Very good English language skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Willingness to travel worldwide.
