Role Overview

Business Development Manager based in Bologna, Ravenna, Rimini, Riccione. You will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company, collaborating with Italy’s most premium and regarded restaurants.

Responsibilities

- Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organized fashion. Become an area‑level expert on up‑and‑coming restaurants and what customers crave most.
- Support partners in joining Deliveroo by providing the best experience.
- Communicate with restaurants via physical visits, email, calls, or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
- Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
- Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.

Qualifications

- Comfortable with targeting new business and has sales experience.
- Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers face‑to‑face, by phone or by email.
- Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Comfortable with negotiations.




- Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
- Tenacious.

Compensation

- National Collective Agreement (CBA): CCNL Commercio e Terziario.
- Classification Level: Livello 4.

The total target compensation (OTE) for this role is €35,200 – €44,000 gross per year, with base salary range €17,200 – €26,000. The starting pay falls within this range and is determined by job‑related factors. This position is not eligible for equity/RSU grant. Benefits will be discussed during interview.
