We are looking for an enthusiastic Physics Teacher for our Secondary School from September 2026 or January 2027. The ideal candidate will be able to:Promote the ‘mission’ and philosophy of the school Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of studentsBe flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to the school development plans and growth.Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach, and assess effectively.Be able to teach Physics to Secondary aged studentsUse the student tracking and monitoring process to advance student learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities.Take personal responsibility for professional development.Effectively communicate the school’s narrative, being an ambassador for our school at all times

Qualification/ Training:Teaching Qualification QTS/PGCE Teaching Qualification QTS/PGCE Bachelor's degree in Physics Bachelor's degree in PhysicsProven track record with at least two years’ teaching experience of PhysicsProven track record with at least two years’ teaching experience of PhysicsExperience of teaching A Level or IB Physics (preferred)Good classroom practice and interpersonal skills Demonstrable evidence of innovating and adapting curriculum to engage children and enable them to reach their potential Working in partnership with parents Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to teach different age ranges and English proficiency levels Ability to engage children and enable them to perform to high expectations Use of iSAMS Desirable (but will be taught to successful candidate)Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development DesirableConfident global citizen or a willingness to become one DesirableUnderstand the complex and demanding environment of an international school community
