You will play a key leadership role in driving a proactive safety-first culture across all contractors, trades, and disciplines.This is a highly visible position within the project leadership team, offering long-term progression and exposure to some of Europe’s most technically complex construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of the project Environmental, Health & Safety management systemsEnsure full compliance with local legislation, best practice standards, and site safety plansSupport the development and review of RAMS, permits to work, safe plans of action, and risk assessmentsDrive consistent application of good safety practices across CSA, MEP, commissioning,
and logistics teamsProvide leadership and direction to the wider EHS team where requiredPromote a strong, embedded safety culture across all levels of the project workforceAct as the main point of contact for client-facing safety engagement, ensuring prompt follow-up on observationsDeliver safety briefings, workshops, and awareness sessions to improve behavioural safety standardsManage hazardous substance controls, including REACH assessments and reporting to senior leadershipEnsure all safety interventions, audits, and corrective actions are tracked, closed, and documentedCarry out routine site inspections and formal audits, maintaining continuous improvement standardsSkills & QualificationsRecognised qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or related disciplineStrong experience leading EHS delivery on large-scale construction projectsData centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical project experience highly advantageousProven ability to manage safety teams and influence multi-contractor environmentsStrong knowledge of current EHS legislation, compliance requirements, and best practice frameworksConfident communicator with strong leadership presence and organisational capabilityProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proactive, detail-focused, and solutions-driven approach to safety managementAbility to operate independently while collaborating effectively with project and client teamsWhat’s on OfferOpportunity to work on a major hyperscale data centre build in MilanLong-term pipeline of mission-critical projects across EuropeSupportive leadership team and strong professional development structureCompetitive salary and benefits packageHigh-impact role within one of Europe’s fastest-growing construction sectors
