Job ID: energy-marshall-hyperscale-data-centrePosted: 2026-06-26Location: Europe, Milan, ItalySalary: GBP 90,000 - 100,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + Net Living AllowanceEmployment Type: PermanentCompany: LJB & CoEnergy Marshall – Hyperscale Data CentreMilan, Italy90,000 - 100,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + Net Living AllowanceEU Passport Holders OnlyWe're recruiting for an experienced Energy Marshall to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering some of Europe's largest mission-critical developments, where you'll play a key role in managing the site's Energy Isolation (LOTO) programme and ensuring the safe energisation of critical electrical infrastructure.As the Energy Marshall, you'll take ownership of the Energy Isolation process across the project, coordinating all MEP energisation activities while ensuring compliance with site procedures, electrical safety rules and client requirements.You'll work closely with Construction, Commissioning, Electrical and EHS teams to safely manage electrical infrastructure from 20kV systems through to final LV distribution.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the site's Energy Isolation (LOTO) programme.Coordinate all MEP energisation activities across the project.Review RAMS, permits,



Job Hazard Analysis and switching procedures.Audit energy isolation processes and ensure compliance with site safety standards.Support construction and commissioning teams during testing and energisation.Manage Permit to Work (PTW) and LOTO processes.Chair weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and the client.Deliver Energy Isolation training to site personnel.Support management of electrical infrastructure from 20kV systems through to final LV circuits.Work closely with EHS teams to ensure Operational Excellence and safe systems of work.RequirementsPrevious experience as an Energy Marshall, Authorised Person (AP), Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or Electrical Commissioning Engineer.Strong knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).Experience managing MV/LV electrical systems.Previous experience within Data Centres or other mission-critical environments.Strong understanding of commissioning and energisation procedures.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Must hold an EU Passport.What's on Offer?90,000 - 100,000 basic salary.Accommodation provided.Rotation.Travel provided.Net Living Allowance.Long-term work on a flagship hyperscale data centre project.Excellent career progression with one of Europe's leading data centre contractors
