ph3Your role /h3 pAs a Electronics Commodity Lead Supplier Development Engineer, your mission is to lead the Electronics commodity sourcing strategy and develop a competitive, resilient and future-ready supplier base. Working closely with RD, Industrialization, Quality, Production and Supply Chain, you ensure supplier readiness, cost competitiveness, component availability and technology alignment to support business growth, new product introductions and the company’s evolving electronics-driven portfolio. /p pYou will report to Sourcing Manager. /p h3You Will /h3 ul liDefine and support the implementation of sourcing strategies for the Electronics commodity. /li liDevelop and manage suppliers for electronic components, PCB assemblies, EMS providers, power electronics, sensors, connectivity solutions and related technologies. /li liDrive supplier development initiatives focused on quality, capacity, manufacturing robustness, delivery performance and continuous improvement. /li liSupport new product introductions by ensuring supplier readiness, component availability and industrial feasibility. /li liCollaborate closely with RD Hardware, Industrialization and Quality teams to evaluate technical solutions and supplier capabilities. /li liIdentify and implement cost reduction opportunities through should-cost analysis, value engineering and supplier collaboration. /li liSupport lifecycle management activities, including EOL monitoring, alternative sourcing strategies and continuity planning. /li liLead supplier performance reviews and development plans for strategic electronics suppliers. /li liIdentify emerging technologies, suppliers and market trends relevant to future product roadmaps.
/li liAnalyze sourcing and supply chain data independently and provide actionable recommendations for optimization and risk mitigation. /li liSupport digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives within the Sourcing organization. /li /ul h3To succeed, you will need /h3 h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in electronics sourcing, supplier development, technical procurement or supplier quality within manufacturing environments. /li liStrong knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, EMS suppliers and electronics manufacturing processes. /li liExperience supporting NPI, industrialization and supplier qualification activities. /li liKnowledge of cost engineering, value engineering and supply chain risk management principles. /li liGood knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM. /li liExperience with Power BI, advanced Excel and data-driven decision making. /li liStrong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liFluent in Italian and English. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with EMS, embedded systems, industrial electronics or power electronics.
/li liKnowledge of component lifecycle management and obsolescence mitigation. /li liExperience with AI-related hardware, connectivity solutions or advanced electronic architectures. /li liFamiliarity with PLM systems and digital product development environments. /li liExperience in international supplier development and cross-functional environments. /li /ul h3In return, we offer /h3 ul liJob classification: White-collar employee, Level 7, National Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry – Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (PMI) /li liCompensation: starting salary for the relevant pay range from 47K gross per year, plus variable compensation and a collective profit-sharing premio.
