If you share it, JOIN US!!_** We are looking for a young **Project Designer **willing to join our **Tenova Material Handling **Business Unit in Italy. **You will carry on the following activities**: - Perform the graphical elaboration of input data received (from Works Manager, Calculator Designer, Process Engineer).
- Decide with the Project referents (PE or Proposal in case of Proposal phase) the design plan regarding the pertinent documents.
- Participate in the management of designing externalities.
- Perform, wherever necessary, on‐site inspections from site surveys up to the ascertaining of the document 'as built'.
- Prepare technical solutions for the project and participates, if necessary, in meetings with the client.
- Agree with the Project referents (PE or Proposal in case of Proposal phase) the type and characteristics of the equipment to be utilized with reference to a specific work order or offer.
- Prepare and/or verifies engineering products, both internal and external, that pertain to this position, according to the level of responsibility.
- Participate, if necessary, to inspections,



test and meetings at suppliers / sites / production.
- Estimate during basic engineer stage the weights for structures and equipment for better fit the as sold technical specification requirements.
- Design structures, piping and all the parts of machines and plant.
- Define the project standard specification in cooperation with the Project Engineer.
- Manage the input data received from Project Engineer, Calculator Designer.
- Design piping routes inside and outside the plant area (Water, hydraulic, compressed air, nitrogen, etc.). **Required profile** **Technical Drafting**
- Ability to generate graphical deliverables from an engineering design. **Design Drivers**
- Understanding of design drivers in terms of costs and schedule. **Engineering & Drafting Fundamentals** **Plant Layout development**
- Ability to layout the plant/machine in a functional, safety, cost-effective way. **Quantity estimation**
- Ability to estimate quantity for structures design (volumes, dimensions, masses, weights, etc.) to better fit the technical specifications. **Materials**
- Knowledge of process, quality materials specifications, suppliers and features. **Foreign language**
- Knowledge of the English language is mandatory
- a second language, apart from English, is added value. **Other ICT Tools**
- Familiarity and ability to use specific software for the role's activity (e.g. 2D and 3D Software, AUTOCAD Software, Inventor, Tekla will be desirable). **Education**
- Technical High School / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the role in companies in the industrial sector is desirable. **Workplace: Genova
