Join us on our journey to net zero and help us power change. **About the Role** **Base Location**:Rome **Salary**: Competitive depending on experience + performance related premio + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family. **Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available As the Origination Project Manager, you'll steer the launch of renewable energy projects across Italy, focusing on various technologies such as Wind, Solar, BESS, and hybrid systems. Your key responsibilities will harness your broad expertise, from strategizing project initiation to overseeing advanced phase project management. By directly managing both internal and external stakeholders, you ensure that projects transition smoothly into the permitting process, optimizing each project's value and impact:
Main accountabilities may include: - Leading strategic analysis and design approaches for new renewable projects, encompassing greenfield initiatives and collaborations with early-stage developers.
- Directing the team in establishing and maintaining commercial agreements with external players, ensuring robust project setups.
- Overseeing the strategic planning, assessment, and monitoring of projects, ensuring seamless progression and compliance with environmental and administrative regulations.
- Championing safety, influencing internal and external practices to uphold and enhance safety standards across all operations.
- Assessing and enhance the capacity, technology deployment, and overall achievements of the SSE project pipeline in Italy. **What do I need** To be considered for this pivotal role, you should possess: - A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, with significant experience in renewable energy project development and commercial strategy execution.
- Proven skill in business development within the Renewable sector, including drafting, negotiating, and interpreting commercial contracts.
- Strategic thinker with a track record in implementing complex commercial strategies successfully.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the Italian Renewable Energy Market and associated permitting processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver on major commercial development and project delivery objectives.
