My English School is a communicative language school with a modern and open-space format, a motivating and friendly atmosphere, and a hands-on and student-centered approach. Since opening in Parma in 2016, the My English School team has taken pride in helping our students achieve real results in a setting that is both professional and fun. We are currently looking for experienced and aspiring teachers already based in Parma and the surrounding area to join our growing team. **You would be responsible for**
- Teaching small group / individual lessons for kids, teens, adults and business
- Regular testing of students
- Writing accurate and timely updates on student progress
- Creating and (eventually) leading extracurricular events and clubs
- Attending team meetings **Essential requirements**
- A native or bilingual level of spoken and written English
- A driving license and own transportation
- TEFL or equivalent (or the willingness to obtain one whilst training on-the-job)
- A strong interest in helping others learn and succeed
- Excellent organisational skills and precision
- Enthusiasm, teamwork and a willingness to lend a hand when necessary
- Attention to detail
- Professionalism, punctuality and interpersonal respect **What we like to see**
- Any prior experience in teaching, tutoring,
coaching or mentoring
- Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for working with young learners
- Work experience in the hospitality, service or creative industries
- A passion for something that you could share with the students
- An ability to speak in front of a group and think on your feet **What we offer**
