TXT E-Tech S.r.l. is looking for a Software Developer to manage a platform dedicated to the creation, maintenance, and publication of Illustrated Parts Data (IPD) catalogs compliant with the ASD S2000M standard. The platform integrates with NAMSA and SAP databases and is developed in VB.NET with an Oracle database . The selected candidate will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, and the development of new functionalities.
This role requires solid technical skills and the ability to understand aeronautical technical documentation processes. Main activities Take over ownership of the platform through a structured handover process. Maintain and evolve the VB.NET application and Oracle database.
Develop new features aligned with ASD S2000M standard requirements. Manage integrations with NAMSA and SAP databases. Perform bug fixing and regression testing on existing functionalities. Write and update technical documentation for the system.
Collaborate with domain experts to gather requirements and validate outputs. Technical skills required Solid experience with VB.NET Framework. Proficiency in Oracle database design, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Experience in integration with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, DB-to-DB). Knowledge of software lifecycle management (versioning, deployment, release). Ability to read and understand existing codebases with limited documentation. Optional technical requirements Knowledge of ASD S2000M or S1000D technical standards.
Experience with SAP integration (RFC, BAPI, IDocs). Familiarity with XML/SGML data structures for technical publications.
Experience in aeronautical or defense sector applications.
Course of study : Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Behavioural skills Structured and autonomous approach to problem solving. Attention to detail and accuracy in managing technical data.
Strong communication skills with both technical and domain-expert stakeholders. Proactive attitude in proposing improvements to existing processes. Reliability and ownership in managing a critical business system.

The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
