You will play a key role in ensuring that high-quality art content and features are seamlessly integrated into the engine while maintaining the project's artistic vision and respecting technical constraints for a world-class production. We are looking for someone who is passionate about seeking new opportunities to create impactful work.Responsibilities:Work with generalists to create 3D art and bring it into the engineSupport artists in using the 3D art pipeline and user-facing engine toolsProvide hands-on guidance on asset performance, optimization, and validationReview creative workflows and identify opportunities for tool and pipeline improvementsDevelop Unreal Engine art pipeline tools and extensions with a focus on usability and efficiencyTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Unreal Engine asset pipelineWork closely with artists and QA to diagnose and fix production challengesEnsure documentation is accessible and up to date for artists and technical teamsHelp inspire and empower the art team to optimize their workflows and processesAbout YouThe essentials:Strong expertise in Unreal Engine Blueprints and proven experience developing tools within the engineExperience building configurators, automation tools, or similar systemsProgramming knowledge (C++ and/or Python)Experience with USD (Universal Scene Description) and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)Knowledge of rigging (especially Control Rig), shading, materials, and rendering pipelines (both real-time and offline)Proficiency in additional 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender)Experience working with premium brands, high-end productions, or within the automotive industryExcellent problem-solving, time management, teamwork, and communication abilitiesAbility to work effectively under deadlinesFluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plusQuick learner with a willingness to share knowledge, a self-motivated drive, and strong attention to detailNaturally curious and proactive mindsetAbout Monks Monks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4 Capital plc.
