UniCredit offers the opportunity to carry out an internship in the Risk Management function. You will be part of an international, dynamic, engaged, and collaborative team where you will have the opportunity to find your path and be proactive in your learning. **What you'll be doing**: - As part of your daily activities, you will:
- Maintain and enhance or validate quantitative models for Financial/Credit Risk measurement, management and optimization, exploring solutions where weaknesses are identified or where new business requires extensions.
- Work on the development/validation of Advanced Internal Ratings Based models for Private Individuals and Corporates Financial Risk models (i.e. market, counterparty, XVAs).
- Explore Artificial Intelligence methodologies for classification of client behaviors and anticipate credit deterioration. Develop in-house software for research and data research.
- Interact with other Risk Management teams, Business, IT Department and Control Functions, providing quantitative support at various levels of the business processes. **What you'll need to succeed**:
- Academic background in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, finance).
- Solid IT skills and some experience in programming and scripting languages.
