**Your responsibilities**: - Develop KWS Vegetables market share with key accounts in Processing Market and Fresh Market Beans
- Build a trusted partnership with our key accounts; support commercial sales activities (trade promotions, supply/demand, pricing) with the assigned customer base.
- Monitor market developments and report market data and information on acreage, seed prices, competitive activity, trade and consumer issues and trends in assigned market segments.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the product range. Support the trial plan and evaluate product performance to determine the added value of new varieties to be introduced.
- Support growers, packers and retailers with the introduction and promotion of varieties and new product concepts. Develop solutions that meet objectives and turn them into business.
- Build a network and a full understanding of key companies, key people and supplier/buyer relationships in the market (growers, trading companies, wholesalers and supermarkets) in order to establish long-term partnerships.
- Initiate and develop (in close collaboration with R&D; and Product Management) account plans for key accounts in the assigned territory.
- Responsible for the management and development of a portfolio of (inter)national key accounts.
- Successfully develop and implement account plans focusing on the 4 Ps.
- Performing commercial introductions at the customer site and evaluating the characteristics, advantages and benefits of the varieties.
- Define and execute new product launch plans in line with market developments and Customer Team plans.
- Providing a high level of product information and market intelligence to Product Management and Customer Team.
- Actively monitor and maintain reliable sales forecasts.
- Maintaining a healthy financial position, managing outstanding accounts in cooperation with the finance department.
- Training, introduction and support for agents and/or TSRs operating directly in less strategic areas. **Your profile**: - ** Requires at least a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or Horticulture**: - ** At least 5 years of experience in the horticultural sector (seeds)**: - ** Residence in Emilia Romagna/Marche region is preferred** (close to major customers and production sites)
- Green thumb, understanding of customer needs and business dynamics
- Proven experience in sales and/or production in the agricultural sector, achieving business results.
- ** Fluent in Italian + English** in speech and writing, additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with SalesForce and/or PowerBi is preferred.
