S.p.A.) is a preferred partner and leading innovator in the development of alternative fuel technologies towards decarbonization. We are looking for a Team Leader Predesign & Simulation, willing to lead and further develop a team of young and motivated calculation engineers, empowering them through mentoring and ensuring that the analysis performed are thorough, robust and executed in a timely manner, in order to properly guide the development of new products. What will you deal with in this role? Together with the rest of the R&D; team, your team will be responsible for defining the architecture of new products, motivating the choices made through calculation and modelling. Once a preliminary architecture is fixed, your team will dive into the details: you will provide multi-physics lumped-parameter simulations of the whole hydraulic system to define the architecture of the complete injection line, and perform CFD simulations of the complex multi-phase fluid-motion unfolding inside the injection-valve to optimize its internal geometry.
- Requirements:
- You have a degree in industrial engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive), with at least 5 years of relevant experience in calculations and simulations.- You are an experienced team leader, or you want to challenge yourself to become one.- You consistently act as a role model for your team members. You seek to build a team which is autonomously acting yet fully integrated and constantly interacting with the rest of R&D; team and with the rest of the company.- You are an expert in Fluid Mechanics, and have extensive experience with CFD simulations.- You have experience with multi-physics lumped-parameter modelling (e.g. GT-Suite, AME-Sim, Simulink), preferably applied to hydraulic.- Your decisions are rooted into data. You are always aware and keep into due consideration the effect that the underlying assumptions of your calculation have on your results.- You are thorough, intellectually honest and you do raise red flags when things go wrong: the results of your team will set the firm ground on which a new product grows.- You have a genuine interest in accurately understanding and acting on customer needs and expectations.- You are proficient in English.- A good command of Italian is preferred.
