_**Description**_ At AMT, we are a cutting-edge start-up specializing in advanced manufacturing of high-performance alloy components. With an integrated engineering approach, we deliver innovative solutions from design to high-volume production for international clients across various industries. To support our growth, we’re looking for a Working Student to join our team. In this role, you will help us realizing and optimizing our Cold Metal Fusion (CMF) and Metal Injection-Molding (MIM) processes, from feedstock preparation to sintering. Your creative thinking will be key to our success. We are not looking for the next industry veteran who tells us what won’t work; your fresh ideas show us how it might work.
- **Get your hands dirty. The shop-floor is your hackerspace**:_
- Understand and rethink our sintering processes, including feedstock preparation, powder handling, debinding, and sintering.
- Help us to set up, operate, and maintain our machines, furnaces, and related equipment.
- Develop creative and lean solutions to ensure precision, consistency, and high-quality parts.
- Hit the keyboard and plan your ideas in CAD. Convince us of your solution, create the bill of materials, and take the wrench to put it together.
- Collect the data where needed. Build your reasoning on quantitative methods.
- Put your ideas into action and show us how they improve our workflows.
- **What you need to bring**:_




- Study background in a technical field (e.g. mechatronics, mechanical engineering or related), preferably at a local university.
- High degree of self-responsibility and autonomy
- Interest in advanced manufacturing methods like metal printing and sintering
- Practical skills: Work with your hands and brain alike. Plan digitally e.g. in CAD, execute on the shop floor.
- Will to speak English and enhance your language horizon. We are an international team.
- The possibility to come to our factory in Botticino (BS) regularly.
