EURES Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro is seeking an instrumentation technician for Europe's leading research facility for scientific research using neutrons in Grenoble, France. Every year, the centre hosts over 2000 visits by scientists, who come to the Institute to carry out world-class research. As part of the Neutron Optics Service (SON), you will join the "Helium 3" group, which specialises in the production of polarised ³He neutron spin filters, which are essential for the scientific experiments conducted at the Institute. **SKILLS**: - You have a Level 4/5 qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, foundation degree or equivalent) in physical measurements, instrumentation or equivalent.
- You have experience in instrumentation and/or physical measurements.
- Knowledge of vacuum, optical and magnetism techniques is desirable.
- Mechanical skills would be an advantage.




- You have a meticulous and organised approach to your work and a service-oriented attitude for meeting the needs of the teams of scientists.
- You enjoy teamwork but are also able to carry out your duties independently.
- In-house training will be provided allowing you to become proficient in the techniques needed to produce and use ³He filters. **PLACE OF WORK**: Grenoble, France **WORK CONDITIONS**: - Indefinite-term contract
- Salary: from €23k to €55k, depending on experience
