Paint/Insulation Junior Specialist Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities: - Paint Application & Control: - Ensure compliance with technical specifications (TS), class regulations, and client requirements.
- Conduct thickness and adhesion tests to verify paint performance.
- Report non-conformities (NCs) and support corrective actions.
- Insulation Installation & Quality Assurance: - Monitor the installation of thermal and acoustic insulation in compliance with design specifications.
- Support the resolution of installation issues and liaise with insulation contractors.
- Technical Documentation & Coordination: - Review and maintain paint and insulation reports, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Support internal and external audits related to coating and insulation.
- Coordinate with production teams, suppliers, and client’s surveyors for technical clarifications.



**Requirements**: - Technical diploma or degree in Naval Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Availability for on-site inspections and occasional travel if required.
- Technical Skills: - Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, IMO, IACS, NACE, FROSIO, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in the field. Reports to: Plant Manager Location: Ancona SYD
