**Freelance Walking Tour Guide - Palermo (Guydeez)** **Location**: Palermo, Italy **Job Type**: Freelance / Independent Contractor
**Compensation**: €120 per day + performance-based bonuses
**Schedule**: Flexible - choose your own working days and hours
**Training**: One-day onboarding session provided About the Role Guydeez is seeking local residents of Palermo to work as freelance walking tour guides. The role involves leading private, personalized tours for small groups and sharing knowledge about Palermo’s history, culture, and key landmarks. A professional tour guide license is not required. Previous experience in tourism, guiding, or hospitality is welcome but not mandatory. **Responsibilities**: - Lead private walking tours adapted to guests’ interests (3-8 hours)
- Share information about Palermo’s history, culture, neighborhoods, and landmarks
- Adjust tours according to group preferences and walking pace




- Ensure a safe, friendly, and enjoyable experience
- Optionally host themed or food-related tours **Requirements**: - Good knowledge of Palermo and its cultural heritage
- Fluency in at least one language (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese, or others)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to guide groups on foot for several hours
