At United Petfood, quality isn’t just a department, it’s at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a proactive Quality Manager to lead and safeguard the quality of our dry petfood (for cats and dogs), ensuring that every kibble leaving our factory meets the highest standards. This is a key position where you will drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and play a vital role in a dynamic, international production environment. **Your role**: - **Monitor production quality**: You supervise daily production activities, check quality parameters, and identify non-conformities. You’ll implement immediate corrective and preventive actions to maintain consistent product quality.
- **Oversee daily operations & solve problems**: You supervise daily quality issues, from raw material checks to product complaints, and implement immediate corrective actions.
- **Implement quality policies**: You turn strategic business goals into practical, actionable plans. You’ll guide your colleagues, helping them solving day-to-day challenges with proactive improvements.
- **Drive process & product improvement**: You lead initiatives to continuously improve both products and processes, enhancing quality, efficiency, and consistency. You’ll collaborate with R&D; to optimize formulas and support new product development.
- **Support R&D; and product innovation**: You provide quality guidance during product development and optimization projects, ensuring new and existing products meet nutritional standards, regulatory requirements, and operational feasibility.
- **Manage complaints & implement corrective actions**: You analyze product complaints,



identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to continuously enhance quality. **Who you are**: - You have (a first) experience in a quality role and are familiar with quality management systems.
- You have a solid knowledge of petfood legislation, regulatory requirements, and certification standards, and know how to turn these into practical, workable solutions.
- You are hands-on and feel at home in a dynamic production environment. You are not afraid to get involved directly in operational tasks.
- You are proactive, able to switch quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a strong communicator, interacting effectively with operators, quality teams, and production managers, and can adapt your approach depending on your audience.
- You can combine operational execution with strategic thinking on process improvements.
