The **Technical & Cleaning Validation Specialist** role exists to support clients with implementing effective cleaning in place and out of place (CIP/COP) regimes. This service is a key differentiator for Ecolab’s existing and potential customers. The role will involve working closely with our clients by reviewing existing regimes, advising on appropriate methodology and supporting all aspects of cleaning validation, including adopting and using digital platforms. They will be required to conduct Technical Visits and Site Surveys at client manufacturing facilities, to identify areas of improvement in relation to compliance and efficiency. The role is responsible for technically supporting the implementation of improvements, such as the optimisation of cleaning processes, total cost of operation (TCO) savings and providing a link between customers and the internal sales teams. This role will be based in Europe, with international travel as required to address business needs.



It is a **fixed term contract / 9-month** maternity leave cover. **Main Responsibilities**: - Develop and manage a cleaning validation program and provide direct technical support to customers that implement Ecolab products.
- Assist the customer in their change control process including technical documentation for SOP’s, validation and training.
- Conduct customer technical visits and site surveys, reviewing and reporting on customer processes with emphasis on their cleaning and disinfection products, to ensure they are both compliant and efficient.
- Conduct customer-facing seminars and internal training on cleaning principles, best practice, process optimisation or compliance and validation.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments (such as R&D; and Marketing) to ensure customer needs are met.
- An ability to influence Key Opinion Leaders
- Ability to travel up to 50% internationally, based on customer needs. **Basic Qualifications**: - Bachelor degree of Science (Chemistry or Engineering)
- Minimum of 5-8 years of practical experience in Pharma production (or Personal Care or Pharma adjacent
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Cleaning Validation
- Experience in understanding/troubleshooting of CIP/COP operations
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of business functions in relation to the role
- Excellent oral and report writing skills,



interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English **Preferred Qualifications**: - Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency with internal or external auditing
- Experience in change control processes
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritise multiple projects with strong follow-through
- Flexibility to work on and control different projects at the same time while still meeting set deadlines
- Good knowledge of existing guidelines dealing with cleaning and disinfection, CIP/COP (e.g. EMA; FDA)
