We are looking for a Commissioning Technician based in Northern/Northeast/Northwest, Italy, to join our Systems & Services Department. In this role, you will play a key part in guaranteeing the efficiency, reliability, and performance of lighting and building automation systems, supporting customers from installation through operation, while collaborating closely with Account Managers and the sales organization. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise, customer interaction, and exposure to innovative lighting and building automation technologies.
Responsibilities:
Act as a technical specialist for standard and emergency lighting products and light management systems installed at customer sites.
Handle customer reports, technical issues, and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Serve as the technical reference for assigned maintenance contracts, in close coordination with the Account Manager.
Deliver technical training sessions to customers and technical partners on relevant products, systems, and technologies.
Support the sales force through technical site surveys,
system commissioning, and the evaluation of optimal solutions for renovation or turnkey projects.
Perform commissioning, testing, and functional verification of systems according to project requirements and standards.
Travel frequently within the assigned region for short business trips to support customers and projects.
Skills & Experience:
You hold a Technical Diploma or a Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Solid knowledge of Building Automation standards such as DALI, BACnet, and KNX, as well as basic networking principles.
You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and AutoCAD for technical documentation and drawings.
Ability to communicate clearly in Italian and English.
You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a customer-oriented mindset.
You are highly organized, able to manage time and priorities with a high level of autonomy.
You have previous experience in a similar technical or commissioning role.
Knowledge of wireless technologies, IoT, or advanced building automation solutions is considered a strong plus.
