Through this collaboration, the Group contributes to the revival and expansion of the iconic Orient Express brand within Italy’s luxury hospitality landscape.What We Are Looking For Reporting to the Senior Controller, the Capex Junior Controller will support the financial planning, monitoring and reporting of capital investment projects, contributing to the effective management of the Group 's international development initiatives. Monitor and control capital expenditure (Capex) related to Train and Real Estate projects, tracking physical and financial progress, reconciling committed costs, invoices and approved budgets, and supporting Capex cash flow forecasting.
Support the consolidation of Group financial data by collecting, validating and reconciling information from different Group companies. Prepare periodic financial reports, dashboards and comparative analyses using ERP systems and advanced Excel. Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
Assist with data rooms, due diligence processes, month-end closing activities and implementation of internal procedures. Master 's degree in Economics, Finance or related disciplines. ~1–3 years of experience in Capex Controlling, Controlling or Accounting. ~ Experience monitoring long-term investment or construction projects. ~ Good knowledge of Italian accounting principles; basic knowledge of IFRS. ~ Advanced Microsoft Excel. ~ Understanding of Capex/Opex accounting and fixed asset capitalization. ~ Ability to read and interpret construction progress reports (SAL). ~ Budget reconciliation (planned vs actual vs committed). ~ Basic/intermediate knowledge of ERP systems (Business Central, SAP or Oracle). ~ Basic knowledge of Power BI or Tableau. ~ Teamwork and collaboration.
