We are looking for: Financial Controlling Intern
Role Purpose
We are currently looking for a Financial controlling Internship to join our dynamic team based in Milan. You will support the Controlling department in all related activities such as:
Participate in the monthly closing process by reviewing financial results and performing cost variance analyses against budget and prior year figures.
Support the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and control of actual spending.
Monitor key Retail KPIs to provide actionable insights to the business.
Assist with store inventory control activities,



including periodic stock takes and reconciliations.
Analyze financial and operational data, preparing ad hoc reports and presentation deck
What would you learn
Develop strong analytical skills by working with large volumes of financial and operational data.
Learn how to perform dynamic financial analyses to support business decision-making.
Gain hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
Build confidence in using financial reporting tools and advanced Excel to analyze and present data.
Understand key Retail KPIs and how they drive business performance.
How can you contribute
Experience:
Master's degree in finance or finance controlling;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Positive and proactive attitude;
Strong interpersonal skills; team-work oriented
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point
Languages: Fluent in English and Italian
