This role combines electronics testing and validation activities with software development for test and automation applications. Approximately 40% of the role focuses on software-related tasks, while the remaining responsibilities involve hands‑on testing, debugging, and support of electronic products in both laboratory and production environments. The Electronics Test Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality, reliability, and testing efficiency. /p pThis job is based in bBelluno, Italy /b, and regular on-site presence is required. /p pSalary: €30,000 - €37,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications. /p h3Key Responsibilities of the Role /h3 ul liPerform testing, validation, and debugging activities on electronic boards and systems. /li liDevelop and maintain software applications and tools dedicated to testing and automation. /li liAnalyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and support corrective actions. /li liCollaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality, reliability, and testing efficiency.



/li liSupport the implementation and maintenance of automated test environments and processes. /li liContribute to firmware development and testing activities, including Arduino-based applications when required. /li liPrepare technical documentation, test reports, and validation records. /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies, automation, and product development. /li liSupport production activities by investigating and resolving electronic product and testing issues. /li liWork closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure product quality and operational efficiency. /li /ul h3Required Skills And Qualifications /h3 ul liDiploma in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. /li liKnowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, VB.NET, or Python. /li liUnderstanding of software applications used for testing and automation purposes. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liGood organizational skills and attention to detail. /li liAbility to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. /li liGood communication and interpersonal skills. /li liNativ Italian and Intermediate English language skills (B1/B2 level) are mandatory. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills And Qualifications /h3 ul li4-5 years of experience in electronic board testing, debugging, validation, or verification activities. /li liExperience developing test automation solutions or supporting automated testing environments. /li liAbility to interpret technical documentation and schematics. /li liWillingness to travel occasionally. /li liProactive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to continuously develop technical competencies. /li /ul h3About the location: /h3 pCopeland Controls is a global leader in high-quality products and services, distributed and supported across more than 70 countries by a network of skilled and knowledgeable professionals.
