PV Project Engineer – Solar Projects - Italy | Full-time Are you a technically skilled Project Engineer with a passion for renewable energy and a desire to make a real impact in the industrial solar sector? The Role: As a PV Project Engineer, you will play a key role in project development by conducting site surveys, preparing preliminary designs, supporting technical evaluations and supervising suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Sales Managers from early feasibility assessments through to installation and grid connection. Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct on?site surveys to gather critical technical data for the preliminary design of PV installations. * Support the verification and validation of technical solutions for system design and grid connection. * Perform preliminary production analyses to estimate annual energy yield. * Assist the Project Manager during installation and operational phases to ensure smooth project execution. * Develop layouts and single?line diagrams for photovoltaic systems. * Oversee detailed design executed by suppliers, ensuring adherence to technical specifications. * Manage connection procedures through relevant authorities' platforms and coordinate suppliers until final grid connection. Skills & Qualifications: * Background in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering. * Experience in PV system design and familiarity with approval and grid connection processes. * Proficiency with AutoCAD and PV modelling software (e.g., PVSyst, PVGIS). * Strong supplier management and decision?support capabilities.
