Embedded FuSa (functional safety) Developer

TXT e-Tech is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join its Aerospace & High Tech Business Unit. The selected candidate will be involved in the development of safety-relevant embedded software solutions, contributing to the delivery of innovative products with high standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate has several years of experience in embedded software development within the Automotive industry, a solid understanding of Functional Safety concepts, and the ability to actively contribute to the definition of technical requirements and software architecture while working with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and define technical specifications and software requirements;
- Develop embedded software using C and C++;
- Manage and complete assigned tasks in compliance with project timelines;
- Contribute to the definition of technical solutions and software development requirements;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Support software verification and validation activities in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages;
- Experience in embedded software development within Automotive environments;
- Knowledge of Functional Safety principles and the ISO 26262 standard;
- Familiarity with structured software development methodologies and validation processes;
- Good command of both English and Italian, written and spoken.
Education:
Technical High School Diploma or Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.

- Annual gross salary ranging from €35,000 to €40,000, depending on experience and qualifications;
- Compensation and employment level will be defined during the selection process in accordance with the Italian National Metalworkers Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
