Maintenance Manager

Your key responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the site's maintenance function, ensuring the reliability, compliance, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facilities. The role develops and executes maintenance strategies aligned with business objectives, drives operational performance, manages external service providers, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe and compliant operations within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Define and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance.
- Ensure effective maintenance planning and execution while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee the performance, compliance, and efficiency of facility and utility systems.
- Partner with Production, Quality, EHS, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and ensure GMP compliance.
- Lead root cause investigations and drive sustainable corrective actions to improve asset performance.
- Manage external contractors, suppliers, and service agreements, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades,
and site investment initiatives.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and spare parts strategies.
- Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all maintenance activities.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or technical qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in maintenance leadership roles within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management, asset reliability, and the management of manufacturing equipment, utilities (HVAC, purified water, compressed air, steam, electrical systems) and facilities/infrastructure.
- Experience managing contractors, budgets, and cross-functional projects.
- Solid understanding of GMP requirements and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
