A qualified Security Analyst 1 will have:

- 3+ years of relevant professional hands on experience in IT help desk or network/systemsroles, having then moved into more of a security role.
- Strong understanding of how network security, email and web traffic flow, along with security controls
- Knowledge of security fundamentals, firewalls, log collection, and incident investigation
- Ability to interpret security alerts and communicate technical concepts clearly

Main responsibilities:

- Monitor alerts generated by security systems and determine their validity
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, leveraging operational knowledge
- Assist in onboarding new clients by configuring firewalls and collecting logs
- Communicate technical findings to internal teams and possibly clients




- Support daily security operations within a 24/7 environment
- Collaborate with the security team to uphold standard procedures and incident management
- Engage in cross-training opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
