ppbAbout the Company /b /p pOur client is a leading international engineering and industrial technology organisation, expanding its presence within the rapidly growing Data Centre industry by delivering reliable power generation and energy storage solutions for mission‑critical infrastructure. /p pAs part of a long‑term growth strategy, the company is building a high‑performing commercial and technical organisation focused on developing integrated power solutions across Europe. /p pThis role represents a key technical position within the business, supporting the ambition to become a trusted engineering partner within the Data Centre ecosystem by connecting customer requirements, technology capabilities and project execution. /p pbThe Opportunity /b /p pThe Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for designing robust and scalable power system architectures for Data Centre applications across Europe. /p pWorking closely with Business Development, Key Account Management, Product Management and Project Delivery teams, the role focuses on translating complex customer requirements into integrated technical solutions that combine power generation technologies, energy storage systems and wider critical power infrastructure. /p pThe successful candidate will act as the technical bridge between customers, engineering teams and product development, ensuring solutions deliver the required levels of reliability, resilience, sustainability and operational performance. /p pbKey Responsibilities /b /p ul liDevelop integrated power system architectures for hyperscale, colocation and enterprise Data Centre projects. /li liDesign complete critical power solutions incorporating power generation systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), switchgear, control systems and grid interfaces. /li liEnsure technical solutions meet customer requirements in terms of performance, resilience, sustainability and operational efficiency. /li liDefine system configurations and grid connection concepts for mission‑critical power applications. /li liDevelop redundancy strategies including N, N+1 and 2N architectures. /li liEvaluate technical solutions considering reliability, scalability, operational flexibility and lifecycle performance. /li liSupport application engineering activities throughout the solution development process.
/li /ul pbCustomer Technical Leadership /b /p ul liAct as the primary technical advisor during customer engagements and solution development activities. /li liLead technical workshops, design reviews and engineering discussions with customers, consultants, EPC contractors and technology partners. /li liTranslate operational requirements into technically robust and commercially competitive solutions. /li /ul pbCross‑Functional Collaboration /b /p ul liAct as the technical interface between Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Application Engineering and Project Management teams. /li liCollaborate with commercial teams during opportunity development, bid preparation and technical proposal activities. /li liEnsure a smooth transition from solution design to project execution while maintaining technical consistency throughout the project lifecycle. /li liCapture customer requirements and market feedback to support future product development and application strategies. /li liContribute to the creation of reference architectures, engineering guidelines and best practices for Data Centre applications. /li liMonitor technology trends across critical power infrastructure, digital energy platforms and grid integration to support long‑term innovation strategies. /li /ul pbTechnical Representation /b /p ul liRepresent the organisation during technical customer meetings, engineering workshops and industry events. /li liSupport the company's positioning as a trusted technology partner within the European Data Centre ecosystem. /li liBuild strong relationships with engineering consultants, EPC contractors and strategic technology partners. /li /ul pbCandidate Profile /b /p pWe are seeking an experienced technical leader with strong expertise in mission‑critical power infrastructure and system architecture for Data Centre applications.
/p pThe ideal candidate combines advanced engineering capabilities with excellent customer‑facing skills and the ability to translate complex operational requirements into integrated technical solutions while collaborating effectively across international and multidisciplinary teams. /p pbRequirements /b /p ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Energy Engineering. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Application Engineering or System Design within international engineering organisations. /li liStrong experience in one or more of the following sectors: /li liCritical Power /li liPower Generation /li liBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) /li liGrid Integration /li liElectrical Infrastructure /li liIndustrial Energy Solutions /li liProven experience designing integrated power systems for complex customer environments. /li liExperience supporting technical sales processes and working alongside commercial teams during long sales cycles. /li liStrong understanding of engineering interfaces involving EPC contractors, consultants and technology partners. /li /ul pbPreferred Experience /b /p pbExperience working with or designing solutions involving: /b /p ul liColocation providers. /li liEPC organisations. /li liGenerator packagers. /li liSwitchgear manufacturers. /li liBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). /li liGrid integration technologies. /li liDigital monitoring and control platforms. /li liUtilities and energy infrastructure providers. /li liStrong systems thinking and analytical capabilities. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liCustomer‑focused mindset with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. /li liStrong collaboration skills within international matrix organisations. /li liInnovative and solution‑oriented approach to engineering challenges. /li liAbility to influence multidisciplinary teams without direct authority. /li /ul pbLanguages /b /p ul liSpanish and/or French would be advantageous. /li /ul pbPackage /b /p ul liBase salary up to b€80,000 gross per annum /b. /li liAnnual performance premio. /li liCompany car or mobility allowance. /li /ul pIf you are a technically driven professional looking to shape the future of Data Centre power solutions within a global engineering organisation, this represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to some of Europe's most advanced mission‑critical infrastructure projects. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
