ppAdecco Credit Banking is looking for a Junior Compliance Specialist to join the Compliance Department of the Bank's Italian Branch /p pThis is a great opportunity for someone to start their career in financial compliance and play a vital role in ensuring all our business processes and transactions meet legal and internal guidelines.
/p pYou will work under the guidance of experienced Officers, focusing on Corporate Banking activities and helping us stay compliant with financial crime regulations, especially anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and embargoes.
/p pAs a Junior Compliance Specialist, your main responsibilities will include: /p ul liHandling Sanction Alerts: Reviewing daily alerts related to sanctions screenings.
/li liKYC Support: Assisting with the review of Know Your Customer (KYC) files for both new and existing clients.
/li liCompliance Guidance: Helping to provide basic KYC/AML advice to business teams.
/li liPolicy Assistance: Supporting the review and occasional drafting of compliance policies and procedures.
/li liProject Involvement: Lending a hand with various compliance projects as they come up.
/li liTraining Support: Assisting in the preparation and delivery of compliance training for staff.
/li liReporting: Helping to gather data and prepare periodical compliance reports for local management.
/li /ul pWe are looking for: /p pEducation: /p ul liA Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field.
/li /ul pExperience: /p ul liexperience in a compliance or AML support role within a financial institution, or relevant internships.
/li liA basic understanding of regulatory requirements for the banking industry.
/li liFamiliarity with Italian AML regulations and European standards is a plus.
/li liSome exposure to drafting or implementing policies and procedures would be beneficial.
/li liAbility to work effectively and meet deadlines, even when things get busy.
/li liA general understanding of operational, financial, and legal aspects related to compliance.
