/p h3The Opportunity /h3 pWe are looking for a Senior Tunnel Engineer to join our fast-growing Tunnelling team, in our Milan Office, who will deliver local and global projects including the HS2 project in UK, Metro Projects in Australia, California and Denmark, mining projects for energy infrastructures, expert advice to Italian and Global Clients and Contractors for infrastructures projects.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTake ownership of design packages.
/li liWork directly with clients and other professionals.
/li liCo?coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines.
/li liProduce project related correspondence and reports.
/li liManage younger members of the team and support their development.
/li liProvide design calculations and support preparation and review of drawings.
/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBEng in Civil Engineering or a BSc in Geological Sciences supplemented by an MSc in Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Soil Mechanics or Structural Engineering.
/li liWorking knowledge of industry standard software for tunnelling, geotechnical and structural design.
/li liPrevious geotechnical and tunnelling design experience from 5 to 10 years.
/li liGood experience in numerical analysis.
/li liStrong engineering skills and knowledge.
/li liProven success in contributing to a team?oriented environment.
/li liExcellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
/li liExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal).




/li liPublication in journals and conferences.
/li liFluency in written and spoken Italian and English.
