Backend Developer (m/w/d) Energie-Management-System(Edge/Cloud) PRAMAC is part of a globally operating energy technology company and is at the forefront of innovation in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) . Our solutions - stationary and mobile - enable energy independence , grid stability , and sustainable energy supply .
To strengthen our software team, we are looking for a technology-driven professional who wants to actively shape the future of energy with us.
Your Responsibilities - What You Can Expect Together with your team, you will develop and extend the backend of our Energy Management System and our backend services in a distributed edge/cloud environment.Youwill designscalableand maintainablearchitecturesforbothedgedevicesandcloudcomponents,primarilyusingGo.
You will develop core cloud data interfaces that ensure reliable and scalable data exchange between our edge devices and cloud services.
You will plan, implement, andmaintaindatabase solutions, especially with PostgreSQL.



You willbe responsible forprocessing, preparing, and integrating device data into our data platform.
You will integrate controllable hardware components such as battery inverters, charging stations, battery management systems (BMS), energy meters, and other peripheral devices into our Energy Management System.
You will take full ownership of the implementation, documentation, and quality assurance of your software modules and ensuretheir long-term maintainability.
Whatyoushouldbring: Acompleteddegreein Computer Science,ElectricalEngineering, TechnicalInformatics,oracomparablefieldofstudy.
Several years of professional experience in backend development, ideally in distributed systems (edge & cloud environments).
Very goodprogramming skills in Go (Golang).
ExperiencewithPostgreSQL, MQTT, and AWScloudservicesisanadvantage.
A team-oriented working style,strong communicationskills, and the ability to quickly understand new technical concepts.
