/ph3Role Objective /h3pAs part of the growth of our activities in Italy, we are looking for an Expert Engineer to strengthen our local team and contribute to the development of large-scale PV and BESS projects.
/ppYou will join a small and growing local team currently, working in close collaboration with Skyray's international engineering teams across Europe.
/ppThe role combines electrical engineering and detailed design activities, project and construction support, and contribution to the progressive development of Skyray's activities in Italy.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Electrical Studies Detailed Design /h3ulliParticipate in electrical studies and detailed design activities for utility-scale PV and BESS projects; /liliProduce, coordinate or review electrical studies and design documentation during development and execution phases; /liliSupport MV/HV grid connection topics and regulatory compliance; /liliContribute to the preparation and validation of project technical documentation.
/liliSupport technical activities related to permitting and execution phases in Italy.
/li /ulh3Project Construction Support /h3ulliSupport tender activities and project development phases; /liliCoordinate technical exchanges with EPC contractors, suppliers and partners; /liliParticipate occasionally in construction site visits, FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.
/li /ulh3Collaboration Activity Development /h3ulliWork closely with Skyray teams across Europe; /liliContribute to the progressive development of Skyray's activities in Italy; /liliParticipate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of methods, processes and tools.
/li /ulh3Profile We Are Looking For /h3h3Required Education Experience /h3ulliDegree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, equivalent with a specialization in Renewable Energy is also evaluated (Energy, Mechanical and Civil Engineers); /lili7-12 years of experience as designer, project engineer,
technical support on utility-scale PV and BESS projects; /liliStrong understanding of electrical studies and execution design activities; /liliKnowledge of Italian electrical regulations and standards; /liliFluent Italian and professional English.
/li /ulh3Appreciated Technical Skills /h3ulliExperience in utility-scale PV detailed design needed for permitting and construction design; /liliExperience in dealing with third parties during permitting phase (PAS, AU) and secondary permitting in Italy; /liliExperience with grid connection process with the Italian E-distribuzione and TERNA; /liliExperience on BESS projects; /liliFamiliarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Caneco or equivalent, PVsyst, and electrical calculation/simulation tools (DigSilent).
