/p pFrench Consulting is seeking a New Parent Support Program (NPSP) Home Visitor to support the U.S. Army's Family Advocacy Program (FAP) in Vicenza.
In this role, you will work directly with expectant parents and families with children from prenatal through age three, providing prevention-focused, strengths-based services that promote safe, healthy, and nurturing family environments.
/p pThis position offers meaningful, hands?on work with military families navigating the unique challenges of military life—including deployment, separation, reunification, and relocation.
/p h3What You'll Do /h3 h3Family Assessment Home Visiting /h3 ul liConduct home visits with expectant parents and families with children prenatal through three years of age.
/li liAssess family strengths, psychosocial functioning, and risk for child maltreatment or family violence.
/li liDevelop individualized service plans in partnership with families based on assessment findings.
/li liScreen referrals to determine family risk levels and prioritize services accordingly.
/li /ul h3Support Prevention Services /h3 ul liProvide parenting education, pregnancy support, and practical skill-building to enhance safe and nurturing caregiving.
/li liDeliver secondary and tertiary prevention services to at?risk and high?risk families.
/li liIndependently assess client needs and implement treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
/li liDemonstrate strong knowledge of child development, family systems, and the emotional impact of military life.

Groups Outreach /h3 ul liFacilitate parenting classes, playgroups, and support groups.
/li liEstablish a respectful, supportive, and productive learning environment.
/li liSupport NPSP and FAP through outreach, marketing, and community engagement.
/li /ul h3Coordination Documentation /h3 ul liCoordinate referrals to military and civilian community resources as appropriate.
/li liCollaborate with FAP Managers (FAPM), CRC case managers, and other service providers.
/li liPrepare required statistical and narrative reports in a timely manner.
/li liMaintain accurate case files and documentation in accordance with program requirements.

/li liRespond to service needs that may occur outside standard duty hours.
/li liProvide coordinated services both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Social Work (MSW)



bOR /b /li liBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN- or CCNE?accredited program bOR /b /li liMaster's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liA minimum of two years of direct experience beyond degree in one or more of the following: /li liChild maltreatment or abuse prevention /li liParenting programs /li liFamilies experiencing stress or crisis /li liDomestic or family violence /li liDysfunctional couples or high?risk family systems /li /ul h3Licensure Certification /h3 ul liCurrent, full, active, and unrestricted license as a: /li liLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
MSW and MFT Licenses must be from one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
