/p pIn this role as a Business Controller you will act as a Finance Business Partner, both at the strategic–tactical level and in day-to-day operations.
The challenge lies not only in executing these analyses, concepts and solutions, but it is also important that you know how to communicate these well to both internal and external stakeholders.
/p h3How you create impact /h3 ul liEnsure the integrity and quality of financial reports in order to mitigate risks, by cooperating with Business Unit Managers to develop and improve financial stability while driving continuous improvement of financial reporting.
/li liOwn accountability for the monthly closing procedures to ensure accurate revenue, cost recognition, and result presentation while managing any balance sheet exposures.
/li liMonitor business development according to KPIs and KN standards, focusing on productivity, volumes, costs, and budget to actual variances.
/li liPrepare accurate forecasts (annual Target and quarterly forecasts) and financial reports for both local and central management, in compliance with internal guidelines in all financial matters.
/li liEnsure the accuracy of statistical information (e.g. client PL accuracy), work with sites (DCM/GM and Local Finance) to improve accounting knowledge and knowledge of Kuehne+Nagel specific standards/systems.
/li liContribute to the bookkeeping and reporting processes and to the preparation of financial statements, ensuring insightful data from the reports is provided.
/li liEnsure the internal procedure and financial guideline adherence and give support to internal and external auditor.
/li /ul h3What we would like you to bring /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Economics or a related field.
/li liMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
/li liPrevious experience in the logistics or transportation sector, with a solid understanding of industry.
/li liStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
/li liProactive mindset with the ability to take initiative.
/li liFluent in both English and Italian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
