/p pYou'll be working on some of the most high-profile water infrastructure projects in the industry, helping to secure Water for Life for generations to come.
/p h3About Your Opportunity /h3 pAs the Senior Supply Modelling Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping Seqwater's long?term water security future.
Leading the strategic direction of water supply modelling, you will establish frameworks and standards,



influence major planning and investment decisions, and provide expert advice to senior leaders and government stakeholders.
Through robust analysis and evidence?based insights, you will help ensure critical decisions are informed, credible and future?focused.
/p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as Seqwater's principal technical authority for water supply modelling, setting enterprise?wide modelling strategy, standards and frameworks.
/li liProvide expert advice to executives, government and key stakeholders on water security risks, system performance and infrastructure investment decisions.
/li liLead modelling governance and assurance, including model validation, change control and quality standards to support critical decision?making.
/li liDrive the evolution of modelling approaches and scenario planning, ensuring Seqwater remains prepared for future challenges such as climate variability and demand uncertainty.
/li liRepresent Seqwater as a senior technical expert across government, regulatory and industry forums, influencing water security policy, planning approaches and modelling standards.
/li /ul h3About you /h3 ul liTertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
/li liExtensive experience in stochastic and/or hydro?economic modelling within complex infrastructure, water, or resource systems.




/li liProven track record leading complex modelling programmes that inform major infrastructure, policy, or investment decisions.
/li liExperience providing strategic advice to executives, government and senior stakeholders on high?impact issues.
/li liAdvanced analytical and problem?solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical insights.
/li liStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability, building relationships across government, industry and internal teams to drive outcomes.
/li /ul pThis role will be offered on a full?time permanent basis, with a competitive salary, plus *****% superannuation.
/p pAppointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
