ph3Job Description /h3 pWood is looking for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer with proven experience in chairing HAZID and HAZOP to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team.
The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week and short trips abroad to lead or participate in HAZOPs and safety reviews at client premises.
/p h3The Role /h3 pThe successful candidate will take responsibility for managing Technical Safety aspects, studies, and workshops in a wide range of projects (refinery, petrochemical, pharma, etc.) under the coordination of the Technical Safety Department Manager.

/li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 pThe key objectives for this role are: /p ul liSupport senior colleagues in coordination of THSE matters in Basic / FEED / EPC contracts, interfacing with colleagues in different working areas and with clients, and acquire capabilities to be the focal point coordinator of THSE aspects in Wood projects.




/li liHelp senior colleagues in project HSE compliance in the design phase and overall project Technical HSE performances.
/li liInterface with HSE specialised external consultants (permitting, specific studies, etc.).
/li liIncrease experience in the THSE profession and risk assessment.
/li liIncrease experience in loss prevention.

/p ul liFirst, and preferably, further degree level qualifications covering Engineering, Process / Design Safety or Environmental disciplines.
/li liExperience in a similar role for at least 8 years.
/li liExperience in chairing HAZID / HAZOP workshops, SIL allocation / LOPA studies.
/li liExperience in HSE aspects in engineering design (safety distances, ergonomics, fire gas, etc.).
/li liKnowledge of CE marking according to European Safety Directives.
/li liAbility in team?working.
/li liMulti?tasking approach.
/li liAvailability for business trips.
/li liTUV (or equivalent) Functional Safety certification will be appreciated.
/li liFluent in English and Italian.
/li liEligibility to work in Italy is a mandatory requirement.
/li /ul h3Contract Classification /h3 ul liContract type: Permanent.
/li liCollective Agreement (CCNL): Industria Metalmeccanica (CNEL C011).
/li liJob Classification level: Impiegato, consistent with role requirements and applicable CCNL.
/li /ul h3Compensation /h3 ul liGross annual salary: the initial gross annual salary will be €55,000, paid in 14 instalments.
