ppWe are looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join our pre-opening team.
/ppThe role will report to the Accounting Manager.
/ppConveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy's most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
/ph3Main duties and responsibilities: /h3ulliManage the Accounts Receivable process, including daily monitoring of revenues, discounts, complimentary items, and cancellations.
/liliPerform daily cash and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accurate posting to the general ledger.
/liliMonitor and reconcile guest paid-out transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
/liliReview and reconcile daily income and transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
/liliManage reconciliations of deposit accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
/liliReconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring accurate allocation and application of payments.
/liliEnsure accurate and timely processing and reporting of city tax obligations.
/liliProvide support to the Accounts Payable function, including invoice review, coding, and posting of Italian and foreign (intracee - extracee) invoices.
/liliCollaborate with operational departments to ensure correct cost allocation and compliance with internal controls.
/liliSupport analytical accounting and cost center reporting, delivering insights and variance analysis to management.
/liliAssist in the preparation of financial reports, documentation,



and audit materials for internal and external audits.
/li /ulh3Skills and requirements: /h3ulliStrong knowledge of general accounting principles and Italian fiscal law.
/liliStrong understanding of both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
/liliFamiliarity with analytical accounting and cost center management.
/liliKnowledge of Business Central and Opera Cloud is highly preferred.
/liliStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.
/liliAbility to work independently and meet deadlines.
/liliGood knowledge of English.

/li /ulh3Compensation /h3ullibCCNL: /b Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for the Tourism Industry (Federalberghi / Confcommercio) /lilibGross Annual Salary (RAL): /b €35,000–€40,000, depending on experience and skills.
/lilibVariable compensation: /b Participation in the hotel's 5% Service Charge scheme, in accordance with the applicable company agreements.
