Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the day-to-day and month-end, quarter-end and year-end books close process (incl. but not limited to recording of accruals/prepaids, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts etc);
- Reviewing bookkeeping entries and closing books and working schedules and reconciliations prepared by the officers




- Investigating full balance sheet and profit and loss variances against different benchmarks and providing variance analysis and associated explanations as part of the books closing process;
- Actively supporting the preparation of VAT, tax returns and other regulatory reporting and reviewing of the VAT, tax returns and any other returns prepared by officers;
- Supervise, mentor and improve junior staff on their day-to-day operational work.
- Involvement in the annual audit process and preparation of the annual financial statements and perform first review of the annual financial statements prepared by the officers
- Collaborate with external parties as may be required;
- Actively contributing to improvement initiatives, standardization, re-engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or economics;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant
