ppWe are seeking an experienced and commercially minded bRegional Controller – Southern and Central Europe /b to join our finance leadership team in Milan.
This role will act as a key finance partner for the region and support selected European markets as part of the Group's strategic growth agenda.
/ppThe Regional Controller will work closely with local finance leadership and regional management, providing financial insight, ensuring strong financial governance, and supporting strategic decision?making across the business.
/ppThe role combines regional oversight with hands?on business partnering responsibilities, ensuring alignment with Group finance standards while supporting operational performance and future expansion initiatives.
/ph3What You Will Be Doing /h3pWhile the role has a regional remit, the initial focus will be weighted toward the region's largest market.
The Regional Finance Controller will work closely with the local Finance Manager, who leads the in?country finance team and reports to the General Manager.
/ppIn other markets across the region, as the business grows, the Regional Controller will act as the Finance Manager until sufficient scale is reached to support dedicated local leadership.
/pulliLead the regional budgeting and forecasting process /liliPrepare and consolidate monthly forecasts /liliDeliver meaningful variance analysis versus budget and prior periods /liliSupport long?term financial planning across regional entities /liliIdentify financial risks and opportunities to improve performance /li /ulh3Management Reporting /h3ulliProduce accurate monthly reporting packages for Group Finance /liliEnsure reporting complies with Group policies and deadlines /liliMonitor regional KPIs and provide actionable performance insights /liliImprove reporting quality, consistency, and automation across countries /li /ulh3Business Partnering /h3ulliAct as a trusted finance business partner to leadership and local GMs /liliSupport commercial decision?making with financial analysis /liliChallenge assumptions and drive accountability for financial performance /liliProvide insight into profitability, pricing, and cost efficiency /li /ulh3Cash Flow Working Capital /h3ulliPrepare and monitor cash flow forecasts /liliImprove visibility of short? and medium?term liquidity /liliOversee and potentially enhance collections / receivables processes (scope to be confirmed) /li /ulh3Month?End Financial Control /h3ulliOversee regional month?end close activities /liliReview cut?off transactions /liliSupport/control deferred revenue calculations /liliReview accruals and provisions /liliEnsure accuracy and integrity of regional financial data /liliStrengthen internal controls across entities /li /ulh3Projects Transformation /h3ulliSupport strategic finance projects including MA activities, ERP implementation / roll?out, process harmonization across countries, integration of newly acquired businesses /liliHelp standardize finance processes across the region /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulli8+ years of progressive finance experience, with some international exposure /liliStrong background in financial controlling, FPA, multi?country reporting,



and business partnering /liliExperience in an audit firm and in a corporate office /liliStrong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, Italian GAAP, IFRS/international reporting standards, and revenue recognition/deferred revenue /liliStrong analytical and financial modelling capabilities /liliAdvanced Excel skills /liliFluent in English and Italian /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience managing finance transformation projects is a plus /liliERP implementation experience preferred /liliAnother European language is a plus /li /ulh3Competencies Essential for Success in the Role /h3ulliCommercially minded /liliHands?on and detail?oriented /liliAble to influence senior stakeholders /liliComfortable working in a matrix organization /liliProactive and solution?oriented /liliAble to balance strategic oversight with operational involvement /li /ulh3Commitment to Diversity, Equity Inclusion /h3pWe foster a work environment that is inclusive as well as diverse, where we reflect our customers and students, and where our people can be themselves.
