We are currently seeking a Material Planning Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!
The Material Planning Supervisor will oversee the operational management of purchase orders and material planning activities, ensuring accurate order placement, timely follow‑up, and alignment with production planning requirements. The role is focused on execution, delivery monitoring, and material availability to support production continuity.
Supervise the daily activities of the material planning team, ensuring correct processing and follow‑up of purchase orders.
Coordinate with production planning to align material deliveries with production requirements and KPI targets.
Monitor order status, track shipments, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance metrics.
Identify and elevate potential supply chain risks, shortages, or delays to management.
Support inventory control activities and provide visibility on incoming materials to the planning team.
Generate reports on material planning activities, order status, shortages, and KPIs for management review.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth operations and production continuity.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience (3–5 years) in material planning, operational purchasing, or order management within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, CyberPlan, E2Open) and Microsoft Office.
Experience in industrial, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
Understanding of production planning, MRP processes, and inventory management.
Familiarity with supply chain KPIs and reporting tools.
