About the roles
GEO Healthcare provides primary healthcare to men in Public Prisons across Victoria. The role of Pharmacy Technicians at GEO Healthcare is to assist, within their scope of practice, with the management of medications. This includes assisting in the preparation for medication administration rounds, administering of prescribed medication, assisting in the management of medication inventory and ordering medication and other pharmaceuticals under supervision.
Opportunities exist for Tempo pieno and Part-time Pharmacy Technicians across both Karreenga Correctional Centre and Marngoneet Correctional Centre in Lara
Salary $65k + Super for Full Time (adjusted for pro-rata part-time hours), $31.25 per hour for Part-time.

Qualifications and Experience: (one of the below)
- Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent, as approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy Dispensary.
- Completion of a dispensary assistant module is highly desirable.
- Previous extensive work experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or the community
