As Piping and Layout Engineer, you will respond to the Head of Layout and Piping Engineering Department and be part of the ENCAR (Energy Carriers) Division and assigned to FEED or EPC project.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of engineering workflow in energy sector
- Acknowledge of technology and product of energy sector
- Acknowledge of piping components, material classification and main process constraint
- Developing plant layouts
- Developing piping material take off
- Routing critical piping based on process flow diagrams (PFDs), process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;) and plot plans, while considering factors such as accessibility, maintainability, safety and material costs
- Drafting of distribution P&ID;
- Developing Underground network design
- Developing Single Line structural drawing
- Calculating piping material quantities based on process diagrams and layouts
- Interpreting technical specifications and identifying critical requirements
- Field assistance during construction installation
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: new graduate or 1-2 years of experience
- Languages: English (B2), Italian (mother tongue / C1)
Technical / IT Skills
- Good knowledge of basic SW tools (Office, Autocad/BricsCad)
- Ability to explore and enhance in‑house or commercial software with AI assisted tool to achieve project needs
