Project & Property Intern

As a Project & Property Intern at Cohabs , you will support the technical and operational management of our properties in Milan.
This is a hands-on role combining maintenance, supplier coordination, cost monitoring and on-site problem solving .
What you will do:
- Carry out regular site visits and identify maintenance or technical issues.
- Coordinate suppliers, technicians and general contractors, monitoring quality, timing and costs.
- Review quotations, purchase orders and invoices.
- Track maintenance expenses and support reporting on operating costs and NOI .
- Verify that completed works match the agreed scope and cost.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify practical, cost-effective solutions.
- When appropriate and safe, directly handle small repairs, adjustments or replacements .
- Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to reduce future maintenance costs.
- Keep accurate records of interventions, costs and technical issues.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a technical and practical mindset .
You may have a background in:
- Engineering
- Construction or technical studies
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC or building maintenance (i.e. Geometra)
A university degree is not mandatory if you have relevant technical knowledge or practical experience.
You:
- Are comfortable working on-site and solving practical problems.
- Have an interest in building systems and maintenance.
- Are willing to investigate issues before automatically calling a contractor.
- Are comfortable using basic tools and carrying out minor repairs.
- Are confident working with numbers, Excel, quotations and invoices.
- Have a strong interest in cost control and property performance .
- Are organized, proactive and detail-oriented.
- Are fluent in Italian and have a working knowledge of English.
